Polkadoodles - Winnie Heavenly Angel - Love Ewe

Well, hello there and a very happy Saturday! 
I'm back today to share a fun shaker card that I made with the super sweet, Winnie Heavenly Angel- Love Ewe image. After masking the image, I added a wintery background with Distress Oxides and then colored Winnie with Copics. I love a fun shaker card and a snowglobe card is a perfect chance to make one.

 I am back today to share a fun card that I put together with a few different images from Polkadoodles for our latest Polkadoodles challenge.  I wanted to create a snowy scene, with all of the sweet little guys out playing in the snow.  I started out by masking the snow and then creating a night-time, wintery sky with Distress Oxides. The images that I used are all from the Too Cute collection. I included Frosty Tree Haul,  Penny Penguin Candy Canes, Waddy Penguin Surprise, and Waddy Penguin with Snowkite. I love the way it turned out and I hope that you'll be able to join the Anything Goes - Polkadoodles challenge.

CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS - OCTOBER KIT - PROJECT INSPIRATION

Hello, hello, hello!
I'm not ready for cooler temps, just yet, but I am ready for a trip to an Apple Orchard and some Apple pie.



 Today, I am excited to share with you a couple more cards that I made with the Club LLLC October kit. If you haven't already subscribed, you can do that right here. You will have until October 31 to sign up and start your subscription with this month's kit. 

For my  first card, I added Marci from the Marci with Apple stamp set. To give a knit look to Marci's hat and boots, I used the Sweater Weather background stamp.  I also added several apples from the Apple Orchard die to Marci's sweater. In the truck, I added an apple from the Apple die. The truck die is from the May 2020 Club kit. If you sign up this month, in two months you will be able to purchase the May kit too. :)

For my second card, I used three of the adorable hedgies from the Apple of my Pie set. They are SO CUTE!  I created the fall sky with Distress Oxides and then used the Apple Orchard and apples to create my scene. I wanted the hedgies to look like they're playing in the Fall leaves, so I die cut the leaf from the Apple die several times and colored the leaves with Distress Oxides and then I just scattered them all around.

CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS OCTOBER 2020 KIT REVEAL







Are you ready for the October Club La-La Land Crafts kit reveal? I know I am!! I've had such fun playing with this kit. As always, there are two sets of stamps included in the kit. Marci with Apples and the Apple of my Pie set which includes 4 super-cute hedgehogs. There are a bunch of fun sentiments too, like "You're the Apple of my Pie" and "I Love you to my Core", plus a bunch more. Also, included in the kit are several fun dies, apple orchard, complete with tiny apples.

For my first card, I have Marci and one of the cute little hedgehogs standing in front of a window, overlooking an Apple Orchard. The doilies are just the apple pie die cut in half.

For my second card, Marci and her hedgie friend have a pie cooling on the windowsill. To create Marci's sweater, I just added several apples from the Apple Orchard die. The curtainsare just the apple die cut three times and turned upside down.

Club La-La Land Crafts - September Kit - Project Inspiration

Hello everyone!


I am excited to be back today with more inspiration from the September Club La-La Land Crafts Kit. 

You can subscribe to the monthly subscription here. The cutoff for the September kit was September 30, HOWEVER, if you subscribe now, after 2 months you can request past kits. Isn't that cool? :)



I think I mentioned earlier how perfect this set is for so many reasons. For me, I have a daughter who is working from home, along with two grandkids at home, doing distance learning. This kit has such an awesome, supportive feel to it and I think it just hits home for so many of us in such a fabulous way. 


For my first card, I made a fun shaker card with the Marci with Laptop stamp. She's sitting in front of her window, with her books piled high, working away. Marci is sitting on the retro desk, cut down to look like a window seat. I added shutters to the window by also cutting the legs off the Retro Desk. For the flooring, I stamped the Wood Planks Background stamp and then cut planks with the Horizontal Pocket Die. Marci is resting her feet on pillows, which are just the Retro Floor Lamp, cut down.

 Hello there! 

For my card today, I chose to play with  Snow Owls -Twiggy & Toot.  I think that Twiggy and Toots might just be my favorite Polkadoodles images. Their expressions are so sweet and quirky and they are so fun to color! The paper is from the Winnie White Christmas paper collection.
