Goodbye Summer, I’ll Miss You

Hi there!! Today’s card is just to simply say goodbye to summer. The days are getting much shorter…and it makes me sad! I love summer and the longer days. I guess…I just need to look forward to Peppermint Mochas and Christmas!!  

For my card, I used the sketch from this week’s challenge at MDUC along with the Magnolia stamp, Chair in Sunset. I thought the empty chair would be kind of fitting for a Miss You card.

Say…Wha!! Ok., this challenge…scared me! LOL…I admit…I may have even lost a bit of sleep. However, it ended up being so fun and EASY! I took watercolor paper, a few larger background stamps, white embossing powder and various distress inks, along with Glimmer Mist and got very inky!

A Magnolia Gift Bag

Hello there! I was inspired to make a gift bag for the MDUC challenge….so, I designed a  gift bag cover on my Silhouette. Super easy! I just glued two sides to a lunch bag.  

I masked  two images  from the latest Magnolia Sea Breeze Collection, Tilda with Cherry Icee & Time for Ice Cream

Butterflies & the frame were made with Paper clay and  molds along with Lots and lots…and lots of Frantage.

AND…of course, I can never have too many flowers!
