Squirrel!

This card is from the older May 2018 Hero Arts Monthly Kit and I just love it!! The frame comes with the set,  along with a bunch of fun images and dies. I've just recently discovered the Hero Arts kits. I know, where have I been?
When I put this card together, it reminded me of the dog from the movie, Up which always makes me laugh. The background is just blended Distress Oxides.
So, that's it for me. I hope you are having a wonderful week. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Let's celebrate your day!

Hello, there!  I hope you're having a wonderful week. :)
For my card, today, I combined various Hello Bluebird images, including Fly a Kite, Meadow Bunnies, the Pathway background stamp. The images were all cut out with my Brother Scan and Cut and colored with Copic Markers. I also removed part of the background image, so I could combine it with a cloudy background, which was created with a cloud stencil and Distress Oxides.

Stay well and thank you so much for visiting.

Polkadoodles Bella Bear Bouquet

Hi there!!
Guess what, guess what, guess what!!!  I have some incredibly exciting news to share. :D
I'm a guest designer for Polkadoodles! I've been bouncing off the walls for a couple of weeks now and could not wait to share the news.

The current challenge over at the Polkadoodles Craft Challenge blog is, You're my Hero.
For my card, I used a super sweet image called, Bella Bear Bouquet along with a sentiment from the Winnie Sunshine Delights Sentiment Bundle for the inside of my card.

I hope you will join us over at the Polkadoodles Craft Challenge.
Thank you so very much for stopping by!

Altenew - Just for You

Long time, no post!
I know it's been a very long time, but I've been having so much fun making cards again, that I thought I would share them on my blog and since today is a cloudy, rainy and dreary, here in Oregon, I wanted to make something cheery and bright! Take that crummy Oregon weather ;)

I started this card out with a Bokeh background technique, which is new to me. It's a photography effect, that shows a blurred background with different colors and circle shapes of varying sizes. I used Distress Oxide inks along with Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment ink. The flower is from the Altenew set, Just For You. The sentiment was created with the Heidi Swapp Minc and my computer.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today!
