EEK!

a mouse!…Oh gosh, I crack myself up……sigh….

Anyhoo….In keeping with the Halloween theme I seem to have going this week, my card for our House Mouse and Friends Challenge uses this cute little Monica Flutter-by. She’s not currently in stock at StampingScrapping.com, but there are quite a few other House Mouse Halloween stamps in stock.

The flowers are simply more of the ones I made using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die, which I am obviously obsessing obnoxiously over having so much fun with!

Thank so much for visiting and don’t forget to head over to the House and Friends blog so that you can play along!

Another quick post!

I’m so sorry to post and run…life’s so busy these days!
Our challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lover’s is Halloween. One of my favorite holidays. I chose to use Tilda with Pumpkin for my card. I’m a little embarrassed to say, I’ve had her for a year or more, but never got around to using her, but in my defense, it’s not like she’s all that versatile. :) If she’s on your list of must haves, I suggest you head over to StampingScrapping.com, so you can get your hands on her QUICK! Fast card…fast post!

Our challenge this month at Scrappy Frogs is hand made flowers…and since I’ve been having a lot of fun making all sorts of hand made flowers lately..this was just perfect for me.
I used the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die, which makes it  piece of cake to whip out these little guys. To make this card even easier, I simply printed out my sentiment with the Stampin’ Up!,  My Digital Studio. The chunky glitter on my flowers is Twinklets Diamond Dust, which can be found in the glue aisle ( makes perfect sense…right?)) at Michaels. I just used tiny droplets of Crystal Accents for my glue and sprinkled the Diamond Dust on top.
How easy is that?
TaDa!

OK...the plan for this challenge is anything, which means you can make this as difficult or easy as you want. You can take this opportunity to try different, like a new technique you’ve always wanted to try…
or just to keep it simple. Check a Christmas card off your list..or a Birthday card. It’s completely up to you. Just have fun!IMG_4171 copy  I really had a great time  with this card! It’s an Aperture Card and simply put…You just make a hole in the center of your card front so that you can see your focal point, which is on the inside of your card. I used Glitter card stock to punch various leaves, butterflies and flourishes and adhered them in a pattern around the open circle. Easy!IMG_4176
For the inside of my card, I used a a Bildmalarna stamp, Mimosa ~ Wonderful Day and Magnolia ~ Open Gate, which can both be purchased at StampingScrapping.com

IMG_4230Quick post and a question. Why is it that short weeks actually seem longer? Things that make you go &*%$! :)
Our challenge at The Bildmalarna Blog is to make a bookmark. Having never made a bookmark…I was just a tad intimidated, but I was told to think of it as a mini scrapbook page or a card and so..I did. Super easy!
Oh and good news…tomorrow is Friday!

Good Morning

and I hope you are all enjoying a long weekend. I am sooooo loving mine. I have nothing special planned…except for possibly seeing  The American… starring…ummm…can’t quite think of his name….umm…oh yeah  George…George Clooney. He’s OK, if you like that sort of thing. Chiseled jaw lines, a touch of gray,

blue eyes, dark hair,
who looks just as good hanging around on a boat

as he does wearing a tuxedo

while excepting a Humanitarian Award, confident,

witty, charming, whose looks just keeps getting better and better the older he gets …Yeah…that.

Ok…enough horsing around…
