It’s…Monday!!

Boy oh boy…that weekend just flew by, didn’t it? Although I spent lots of time coloring in my craft room, for some crazy reason…weekends are never long enough to fit everything in. Oh well, the next one is just around the corner!

Today, I‘m happy to be able to share a card I made with a sweet Magnolia image, Tilda with Daisy.

Our challenge is Blue for Magnolia Lovers…………and although I’m not feeling blue…I am kind of blah, but a blah challenge doesn’t sound very fun, does it. Ha!

I chose one of my favorite Magnolias, Tilda with Bike. She’s another one of those Maggis that remind me of my little girl…..although riding a bike was never…and still isn’t one of her strong points. Right kiddo?

Anyhoo….Cindy at Stamping Scrapping has Tilda with Bike available for purchase right now.

Tilda Goes Shopping

Our little girl is growing up! Tilda is beginning to remind me of someone…Pretty soon she’ll have a really cool pink car, just like Barbie and you know what they say, that girl has all the fun!

Our challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central is to create a gift card holder. This project  was another one that came to me while I was laying in bed one night….I knew I was going to use Tilda Goes Shopping  (which is in stock, right now at Stamping Scrapping.com!)somehow for this. I scoured the internet and found several tutorials on gift cards, but this is the one…I pretty much went with, with just a few minor changes.

For the rest of my project I chose a sketch from I Heart 2 Stamp.

I’m so sorry to post and run…life’s so busy these days!

Our challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lover’s is Halloween. One of my favorite holidays. I chose to use Tilda with Pumpkin for my card. I’m a little embarrassed to say, I’ve had her for a year or more, but never got around to using her, but in my defense, it’s not like she’s all that versatile. :) If she’s on your list of must haves, I suggest you head over to StampingScrapping.com, so you can get your hands on her QUICK!

Who’s idea was the whole 5 day workweek, 2 day weekend thingy? Hmmm?

How long have we been doing things this way. I say, it’s time for a change. Heck, I’d even be willing to throw in a few an extra day or two every once in a while. Are you with me gang?

The challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central is Paper Piecing.  For my card I chose  #867, Gift Tilda, from Stamping Scrapping.com. I paper pieced the gifts in Tilda’s hands.

To add a bit of depth to the image, I added 2 more layers of paper to the gifts…and if you look very closely…you can almost see.

A girl’s got to
