Winking smile

Just For You

S
PaperPlay Challenges has a Flags and Banners challenge for you this week. We are also being sponsors by DigDarla.
A little about DigiDarla
DigiDarla is the brain child of Kim Eskola and her daughter Emilea. Emilea and I both enjoy creating and when the idea of creating digital stamps came up, it sounded like the most wonderful way to earn ever! There was only one problem! We are both shy and dislike the center of attention! As a way of "hiding behind the scenes" and avoiding having one spokeswoman, DigiDarla was born! Working with Emilea on this project has been a wonderful blessing and has stretched both of us. Emilea is a busy teen with her passion for art and training our 2 horses, piano and violin lessons, and squeezing in high school classes somewhere in between! She is also the oldest daughter in a family of 11!
My digital stamp is Circus Elephant and I have to say…it was such a delight to color!
I hope you’ll find time to visit the PaperPlay Challenge Blog to see the rest of the Design Team inspiration and thank you for visiting.

Good Morning my Friends!

Today… it’s my turn to show you a bit of Little Darlings Inspiration. The challenge for the Little Darlings DT this month is Anything Goes and I was so happy to be able to break out this super sweet stamp from the Back to School 2011 collection, Art 101. This is certainly an artsy crafty girl after my heart!

The challenge, starting today over at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog is …
Orange Cream sickle.
Perfect for summer, don’t’ you think?
By the way...did you know that if you enter the challenge...and your card is chosen by the DT, you will win a gift certificate to the 7 Kids College Fund Store? Pretty cool, right?
My take on the challenge was to color this fun Kraftin Kimmie image, Bella with a variety of Copics in the YR family. My flowers were made with linen fabric and the Spellbinders Blossoms Three die.

Paperplay Challenge ~ Card For a MAN

Ack! Making a manly card nearly causes me to break out in hives! It’s completely out of my comfort zone AND…I swear…I actually lose sleep over it.
P1040472
The idea for this card came to me late at night and I actually had to get my tail up..and get it done…so I could sleep. A little crazy? Yep! Winking smile
Anyway…I hope you will join the rest of the design team over at Paperplay Challenges for our Card for a Man challenge.
The die cuts including the silhouette shape all came from the Silhouette store. The sentiment was printed on my computer. Easy, huh?

And, we are taking requests!!!  If there is a specific theme or technique that you would like to see, please let us know by sending an email to ajhunt{at}comcast.net.  We will do our very best to accommodate all of your crafting requests to the very best of our abilities.
