Snow...huh? I have to chuckle that I’m posting these snowy cards today…because, here in Southern Calif…our weather is 100 degrees! Don’t let me kid ya…I’m not a cold weather girl…but at the moment… I could go for a little snow!!
On to the details! For my first card, I simply cut a snowy hill out of white glitter paper and popped little Lexi onto the hill. Super easy! My sentiment is from the new Winter Trinket set, which I added to a snowflake that was cut on my Cameo, sprayed with adhesive and blinged up with Martha Stewart glitter. The Poinsettias were made with the Spellbinders Poinsettia die.
For my Lucas card, I stamped the image onto white glitter cardstock and fussy cut the snowman after adding a little shading to him with my Copics. His scarf was colored separately and added to the snowman, giving the card a very 3D look. Again, all my snowflakes were cut on my Cameo along with frames for both cards.
Supplies used:
Lexi card ~ My Mind’s Eye ~ Merry and Bright
Lucas card ~ Various different paper from my stash
Copics
American crafts white glitter card stock
Spellbinders Poinsettia Die
McGill Pine Branch Punch
Marvy Oak Leaf Punch
Martha Stewart Glitter
3M Spray Adhesive
