Just one more day before Thanksgiving and I really wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. We will be spending the day with our family and that is my absolute… favorite thing to do! The next day…I’ll be out at O dark thirty, listening to the Chipmunks sing All I Want for Christmas, while sipping a Peppermint Mocha….while playing bumper cars in a crowded shopping mall parking lot… :)
Our challenge at the Bildmalarna Blog is Christmas and this gave me the perfect opportunity to use my Mimosa with Stocking Cap along with a few more poinsettias. This time though, for my poinsettias, I used an svg. file from Penny at Penny Duncan Creations. Do yourself a huge favor and visit Penny’s blog. You will be amazed! Penny even has a wonderful video tutorial on how to make a poinsettia using her file.
Thank you so much for dropping by and I truly hope you
have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Sentiment ~Stampin’ Up! ~ Sweet Serendipity
on Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central. In an effort to not over complicate things…I took this challenge nice and easy. I cut a Carryall Svg on my Cricut, added a couple of layers and one of the sentiments from Stamping Scrapping, SSD Label Accents, cut it and matted it with Spellbinders Labels Four and Fourteen….and I was done! I will say this though…You know that tidy, neat,
everything in it’s place craft room? Well, every time I open my Cricut….it’s like a gaggle of three year olds came over to play. There is schtuff everywhere! ;)
Ok…so…if you’re ready to try your hand at the Yellow and Black Challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central…we would love to have you!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Seriously! There are only 51 days till the after Christmas Sales start? I’m just kiddin ya.
Seriously though….Christmas is NEXT month! I know…scary, huh? Don’t worry…I can email you my list if you want. :)
Our challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central is ribbon, so I thought it would be the perfect time to make my first Christmas Card for the season. I used the Tim Holtz Alterations Caged Bird Die for the Birdcage and the Bird. I adore this die…in fact, I used it to make tags for some of the storage boxes in my craft room. StampingScrapping.com currently has this die in stock, but I would hurry over, if you are at all interested in taking this little beauty home.
My sentiment is from the Label Accents set from StampingScrapping.com and is one of the gorgeous stamps sets that Cindy personally designed to coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders dies. This one, in particular fits perfectly inside of the Labels 4 set. The quality of these clear stamps are THE BEST!
I hope I’ve inspired you to head over to SSCC to enter your ribbon card into the challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend!
I also must give credit to Ana White for her inspiration also! She has fantastic plans for all sort of amazing knock-offs! Doug ended up winging it, since he's a cabinet maker, but if you want to make your own....try Ana White....or...Doug could build one for you too! :)
