Goodbye Summer, I’ll Miss You

Hi there!! Today’s card is just to simply say goodbye to summer. The days are getting much shorter…and it makes me sad! I love summer and the longer days. I guess…I just need to look forward to Peppermint Mochas and Christmas!!  

For my card, I used the sketch from this week’s challenge at MDUC along with the Magnolia stamp, Chair in Sunset. I thought the empty chair would be kind of fitting for a Miss You card.

A Magnolia Gift Bag

Hello there! I was inspired to make a gift bag for the MDUC challenge….so, I designed a  gift bag cover on my Silhouette. Super easy! I just glued two sides to a lunch bag.  

I masked  two images  from the latest Magnolia Sea Breeze Collection, Tilda with Cherry Icee & Time for Ice Cream

Butterflies & the frame were made with Paper clay and  molds along with Lots and lots…and lots of Frantage.

AND…of course, I can never have too many flowers!

Hi there!!  Can you believe it  is September?!  Guess what? Christmas… is coming too!!  But…not yet. Here in Southern California, summer has finally arrived..and she brought her sticky friend with her too.  It’s like a scorching hot monsoon combo out there. Yuck!

Anyhooooooo,  I thought the Wee Stamps image, Summer Fairy would be quite refreshing.

 

My card base and layers were cut on my Silhouette.  There is a sweet tag tucked in at the top behind the frame too.
