Glitter Challenge

It is my pleasure to host the next challenge at MSL, which starts today. The challenge is glitter…Do I host the easiest challenges, or what? :)
For my card I chose Ballerina Tilda, colored her with Copics and added tons of Stickles. The frame was cut on my Cricut using the Lacey Labels cartridge.
That’s is for me today. I heading back out the door to drive to LA again for CHA, which is super fun…but oh man…and I’m beat. If you’re there please be sure to stop by the Stamping Scrapping Designs booth to say hi. I would love to meet you! : )

SSCC Winter Challenge

It has been absolutely gorgeous here in Southern California for the last couple of weeks, so I think I could have gotten away with a beachey card…or a BBQ card or something with bunches of spring flowers, but I think that may have generated a lot of hate mail from my Midwest friends….  ;)

So…I went with something more traditionally wintery, like this cutie from Bildmalarna,   Mimosa Lights the Way. The large snowflakes were cut on my Cricut using the Lacey Labels cartridge.

Oh boy…. :)

Our challenge is Blue for Magnolia Lovers…………and although I’m not feeling blue…I am kind of blah, but a blah challenge doesn’t sound very fun, does it. Ha!

I chose one of my favorite Magnolias, Tilda with Bike. She’s another one of those Maggis that remind me of my little girl…..although riding a bike was never…and still isn’t one of her strong points. Right kiddo?

Anyhoo….Cindy at Stamping Scrapping has Tilda with Bike available for purchase right now.

Flower Power

Happy New Year Friends!

I hope that you are all enjoying a peaceful, relaxing finish to the holidays and that 2011 is filled with love and happiness.

It’s early Sunday morning and I’m enjoying a cup of coffee while waiting for my new internet service to be installed, so if you never hear from me again….you’ll know why… ;)

My card today is actually for two challenges. Both the Bildmalarna Anything Goes Challenge and the Scrappy Frogs Sentiment Challenge. Go me!

I chose an image from the Bildmalarna 2010 Christmas collection, Excited Mimosa…which works perfectly for a birthday card too. My sentiment is from the very versatile SSD set of stamps, Label Accents. I matted Excited Mimosa using the Spellbinders Lacey Circles. Both stamps and the Spellbinders Lacey Circles are available for purchase at StampingScrapping.com. Cindy has so many exciting new things in store for us all in 2011! If you get a chance, be sure to check out the new stamps and coordinating dies. So gorgeous!
