Happy Fall Y’all

IMG_4321 copy
I bet you were expecting another Halloween project or maybe even a Fall Decor item and yes, I can see how that would have made sense…
It’s just that with the weather still as hot as a Hot Dog in Hades, I felt like something summery and since a Pina Colada wasn’t an option, I chose a to make a card for our Anything Goes With a Bildmalarna Challenge.
My stamp for this card is another one of my very favorite Bildmalarna stamps, Rose Mimosa. Geez, isn’t she just SO cute?
I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the Anything Goes with a Bildmalarna Challenge.
Supplies:
         Stampin’ Up DS Paper
SVG file was used for the mat

Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch

Egad…It’s HOT!

Monday, in Orange County…it was way, way over 100 and..it was my birthday, which is know, worldwide (OK, just with my family) for being notoriously hot. The funny thing is, it could even be a chilly 68 the day before, but the day of…It’s ridiculously HOT! It’s just crazy I tell ya!
The challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central is Halloween, witch (wink, wink) means it was the perfect opportunity for me to try a Treat Box. I chose to use the super cute Bildmalarna Mimosa Witch. Is she cute or what? The hole in the center of the box was cut on with a Spellbinders Nestie
I added a few more of the roses I made with the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die, but this time I added an additional layer to make them just a tad larger.

Halloween on the Brain.

No….I mean it. Seriously.
3051600134_7d08209e28_z
Look, it’s good for you. Hey! I know….and just think.
It’s only September.
I have two Halloween projects for you and one blog hop, so please pull up a chair and get comfy.
First, is the Blog Hop.
StampingScrapping.com is hosting a blog hop and one lucky
commenter will win a set of the New Celebrations Stamps!
Here are the rules:
Check out the new projects posted each day by our designers
& please leave a comment on every post by 12 a.m. PST
on the same day on each designers blog.
Four lucky winners will win their choice of one of the
Here is the card I made using one of the stamps from the new set:

I colored the little guy with a few Copics, cut the image out with my Spellbinders, added a ribbon, a bow and one of the sentiments from the new set….a little stitching….and there it is!
So,.…what do you think?
Easy peasy, right?
Next, I found this sad, forlorn little guy at the Goodwill last year and have been wanting to do something with it ever since. Don’t get me wrong. In it’s outdated icky pine state , it’s been the perfect addition to my darling husband’s disaster of a garage delightfully charming Harley garage ever since it arrived, but now was the time to break this little guy out.IMG_4258
I spray painted it with this images
and added a bit of festive Halloween Scrapbook paper to the place that, in it’s previous life was …smoked glass.
The trick or treating silhouettes were cut with my Cricut Expression and the Cricut cartridge, A Child’s Year.
So,…tell me what you think.
I’d love to hear.
Thank you so very much for visiting!!!
Please remember to leave a comment so that you will be entered into the drawing for the Celebrations Stamp set.

EEK!

a mouse!…Oh gosh, I crack myself up……sigh….

Anyhoo….In keeping with the Halloween theme I seem to have going this week, my card for our House Mouse and Friends Challenge uses this cute little Monica Flutter-by. She’s not currently in stock at StampingScrapping.com, but there are quite a few other House Mouse Halloween stamps in stock.

The flowers are simply more of the ones I made using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die, which I am obviously obsessing obnoxiously over having so much fun with!

Thank so much for visiting and don’t forget to head over to the House and Friends blog so that you can play along!

Another quick post!

I’m so sorry to post and run…life’s so busy these days!
Our challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lover’s is Halloween. One of my favorite holidays. I chose to use Tilda with Pumpkin for my card. I’m a little embarrassed to say, I’ve had her for a year or more, but never got around to using her, but in my defense, it’s not like she’s all that versatile. :) If she’s on your list of must haves, I suggest you head over to StampingScrapping.com, so you can get your hands on her QUICK!
