CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS - FEBRUARY KIT - PROJECT INSPIRATION

 

Hello there! 
I'm back today with a bit more inspiration from the Club La-La Land Crafts February Kit 



For my first card, Retro Marci is ready for a sock hop and she's hanging out by the Jukebox. Both the stamp and the die are just two of the fun goodies included in the Club La-La Land Crafts kit for February 2021. There are also two other stamps, a roller-skating poodle and a pair of dancing poodles! Plus, a bunch of perfect sentiment stamps, with a total of 3 die sets!

For my second card, I wanted to make a poodle skirt, so I stamped a Roller Skating Poodle, colored him, and cut him down to add to Retro Marci's skirt. I also added a chocolate milkshake and a box of fries. Look at how cute that box of fries is! You even get the dies to cut the fries! So fun, right?  Both dies are also included in this month's kit. I embossed my blue background paper with one of the stencils included in the Hearts & Harlequin Layering Stencils set. Did you know that you can use stencils to emboss? It's super easy. You just use it as a normal embossing folder. :)

CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS - FEBRUARY KIT REVEAL




Hello!!  It is time for the February Kit Reveal and I can just tell you how much I LOVE this kit! There is just so much to love. We have Retro Marci with that sassy pose, we have dancing poodles and a roller-skating poodle! And then there are the dies!  There's a Juke Box Die, a Milkshake Die, and a darling French Fry box, which folds up just like a miniature french fry box! There are even 2 dies for french fries. Oh, and, there are seven sentiment stamps too. 


For my first card, I colored Retro Marci and then paper pieced her skirt by stamping the 
Just for You Background Stamp. The pink paper in the background was made with the 
The Jukebox was colored with Copics.

For card number 2, I colored rainbow roller skating poodles from the Good Times set, because of course,  I knew as soon as I saw this stamp, I would be coloring rainbow poodles. They are even delivering matching rainbow milkshakes to your car. I checkerboard floor and a few stars made it all come together.

CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS - JANUARY KIT - PROJECT INSPIRATION

 

Hello there! 
I'm back today with a bit more inspiration from the Club La-La Land Crafts January Kit. 


This kit is so perfect for Valentine's Day, but that's not all. It's perfect for an encouragement card, a Mother's Day card, a birthday card, or a card/game player in your life. You could make an anniversary card with the King and Queen dies...I could go on and on. ;) 

For my first card, I made a shaker card with the Playing Card die, included in this month's kit. I colored Marci in some non-traditional colors for the Queen of Hearts. It's always nice to think outside the box when playing with all of the fun goodies included in the kit.

For my second card, Queen of Hearts Marci was colored in a much more typical color scheme. I created a fun chessboard with the Double Stitched Square Die. 
Marci is absolutely in charge of that chessboard. Plus, her sentiment reminds me so much of something a Mom would say. :)

CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS - NOVEMBER KIT - PROJECT INSPIRATION


Hi there! 
I'm back today with a bit more inspiration from the Club La-La Land Crafts November Kit. This time, I have a shadow box card and a shaker card. 


For my first card, I made a shadow box card and formed the layers with the Snow Banks die, the Fence on a Hill die and the Winter Houses die, creating a snowy village in the background. 


I colored Marci with Sled along with two of the bears from the Bear Hugs stamp set. 

It looks to me like that little bear is itching for a snowball fight.

CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS NOVEMBER 2020 KIT REVEAL




It is that time again. Yep, it's time for the November Club La-La Land Crafts kit reveal! I had so much fun playing with this kit and my head is swimming with ideas. Included in the kit is an adorable Marci with Sled rubber stamp along with three super sweet bear stamps too. Also included,  are 5 sentiment stamps and then...there are the fabulous dies included in the kit, also.  There is the Fence on a Hill die,  2 Snow Banks dies and two Winter Houses along with their snowy rooftops dies.

For my first card, I used the Winter Houses dies to cut several houses in various colors and then placed them on top of the snowy banks. I colored Marci and her sled and one of the bears in various Copic colors. The sentiment is also from the kit.

For my second card, I made a snowglobe shaker card. Inside the snowglobe is a tiny snow village. All around the snow globe, I placed the  little polar bears and there are even couple poking out from behind the snowglobe.

CLUB LA-LA LAND CRAFTS - OCTOBER KIT - PROJECT INSPIRATION

Hello, hello, hello!
I'm not ready for cooler temps, just yet, but I am ready for a trip to an Apple Orchard and some Apple pie.



 Today, I am excited to share with you a couple more cards that I made with the Club LLLC October kit. If you haven't already subscribed, you can do that right here. You will have until October 31 to sign up and start your subscription with this month's kit. 

For my  first card, I added Marci from the Marci with Apple stamp set. To give a knit look to Marci's hat and boots, I used the Sweater Weather background stamp.  I also added several apples from the Apple Orchard die to Marci's sweater. In the truck, I added an apple from the Apple die. The truck die is from the May 2020 Club kit. If you sign up this month, in two months you will be able to purchase the May kit too. :)

For my second card, I used three of the adorable hedgies from the Apple of my Pie set. They are SO CUTE!  I created the fall sky with Distress Oxides and then used the Apple Orchard and apples to create my scene. I wanted the hedgies to look like they're playing in the Fall leaves, so I die cut the leaf from the Apple die several times and colored the leaves with Distress Oxides and then I just scattered them all around.
