Relax and Enjoy

 IMG_4222 copy
IMG_4230Quick post and a question. Why is it that short weeks actually seem longer? Things that make you go &*%$! :)
Our challenge at The Bildmalarna Blog is to make a bookmark. Having never made a bookmark…I was just a tad intimidated, but I was told to think of it as a mini scrapbook page or a card and so..I did. Super easy!
Oh and good news…tomorrow is Friday!
:)
I chose Mimosa Tea from Cindy at Stamping Scrapping.com
Supplies:
Flower: Stampin’ Up ~ Crocheted Flower
R000, R20, R22, R24 E000, E00, E25, E34, E35, E50, E51, E99, YG03, G21, Y21, W1, W3, W5

California was having such a pleasant, mild summer.

Emphasis on was.  Holey Moley is it ever HOT! If I were laying next to George Clooney, poolside with an umbrella drink, and ocean view, ….. and it was five  twenty years ago…I might feel differently…but now it’s just HOT!

I had such a great time with this folded frame card (not George Clooney fun, but fun still). Beate of Fresh and Fun has a fantastic video tutorial.

Shhh….don’t look now…..it’s Friday!

I know…pretty exciting, isn’t it?

Our challenge at the Bildmalarna Blog is to use embossing. In my head…I had planned a embossed layer, but when I finished my card…I realized…there was no embossing. Ack!!

Then, I remembered….I could just add an embossed sentiment.

Pretty smart, huh?

For my card, I chose Mimosa Sitting, which is in stock right now at
