Magnolia-licious Color Challenge

P1050256
Squeal!! Don’t you love Walter the Moose?! Just look at his sweet face!   I paired him with one of the newest stamps from Magnolia, Tilda with Tag Gifts.  One of the things that I look for when I’m picking out my Christmas stamp are images that will do double duty and I can see Tilda with Tag Gifts on a birthday card too.  Our lovely Diana has both stamps in stock right now too!
Our challenge over at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog is to use Red, White,  Silver or Gold on your project.  To me, this screams Holiday…so that’s the direction I took my card.  I cut a frame out with my lilhouette Cameo, sprayed adhesive on it…and glittered it up. The poinsettias were made with the Spellbinders Poinsettia Die, which also glittered pretty darn well too!  LOL
Alrighty! It’s your turn now..so head over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog for more inspiration from my wonderfully talented design team sisters…and to enter the challenge!  I look forward to seeing you there!  Just by playing along, you’ll be entered into the drawing to win a fabulous surprise from Diana!  Not too bad, huh?! Winking smile

  1. Oh gorgeous card, Sheri. Love this Tilda for her versatility also. Cute Walter. Fab colouring of both images--love the rich red shade. Wonderful design. Love the shape of your frame. Your poinsettias look terrific. I saw the Spellbinders dies too, but I already have other poinsettia dies that I had to forgo that one.

    Norma

  10. Hi Sheri,
    Your card is sooo pretty.
As I mentioned already Tilda's dress looks like beautiful expensive velvet!
I am not good at colouring animals either. You've done a great job on Walter :o)
Love the shape of your dies, and your poinsettias are fantastic.

  15. GORGEOUS!! GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS! I don't know what it is about this card but I absolutely love it!! I think that you used dark reds instead of all the typical xmas reds is what I liked. I was going to use the same paper and thought NO!! LOL! Well not the EXACT same ones but from the collection. THEN I bought many new papers so that was confusing. LOL! Also LUV the glitter frame layer you used. So pretty ... and your coloring. Not sure why you think your coloring isn't good it's amazing you did a great job! Ok I'm done for now. OH WAIT!!! The poinsettia's. NICE!! Hugs!

  17. Holy Smokes! I think this may be my favorite card of yours yet! The beautiful coloring of Tilda's brown and maroon dress--pure perfection! What copics did you use for it? And the way you combined Walter with Tilda-- TWO cute! A few questions: what spray adhesive did you use for the glittered frame and what glitter?? --it is so lovely! What copics did you use for Tilda's dress? So thanks to your A-mazing post, I now need to add both Magnolia stamps and that Spellbinders Poinsettias die to my must have list;)
