You’re a Peach!

Whew…that was an exhausting weekend! I’m still recuperating! I never thought there would be a time that it would take me two days to recuperate from a party…let alone…a one year olds birthday party… but, not just any one year olds… ladybug’s birthday party. That’s right Emma is one and her Grandma is feeling old…really…..really….. really old.
I’m such a party animal!
Over at the Stamping Scraping Challenge Central, Leanne hosted this cheery little inspiration photo.
The peachy colors sort of jumped off the page for me…so I knew just which stamp reach for…Peachy Tilda.  After coloring her with Copics,  I matted her with a Nestie-look-a-like, I cut with my Circut.  I also made a couple of extra flowers with the same cardstock I had punched my border with and added a little bit of stitching… tada!IMG_4038 copy

Thank you so very much for visiting!
The end!

  1. This is one of my favorite Magnolia images and I think your card is fabulous~! P.S. I think a party for a little one can be harder than a party for an adult - they have so much more energy than we do!

  2. You're a hoot! I commented on Courtney's blog about Emma's booty photo! Cute, cute, cute!!!

Oh, and cute card too...even though I already told you that. ;o)

  3. Love your peachy Tilda!! Love all the shades of browns you used!

  4. Sheri, love the card and Emma's photos! I love the colors you chose definitely inspired by the photo in the challenge.

  5. Me again. Emma is beautiful, her bloomers and tutu are to die for, and surely would give all of us a lift. Even if a 1 year old granddaughter can make a grandmom feel tired (I did not say old), grandmom certainly does not show it!

  6. Hello Sheri, you succeeded very well in capturing the essence of the colors from the photo! Your card is magnificent. I love these shades, so warm and rich. Tilda is very pretty. but, the picture of your grand-daughter is adorable...

  7. Hi Sheri...first, congrats on Emma's 1st b-day. My first garndbaby's name is Emma too...and she's almost, darlin', you're not old at all! :-)

Your card is just the DPs...and this is really, truly one of my fave Tildas..and you definitely did the girl justice! Pat Frank

  8. Very, very pretty. Love the colors.

  9. What a wonderful card. Those colors are great and they're perfect for peachy Tilda.

And your card is gorgeous! LOVE the colors...everything is just perfect together!

  12. What a beautiful Peachy Tilda - picked to perfection!!
Your little "booty" pic is adorable -- quite appropriate for "the end"
Love all your work. Thanks for sharing.
Rubber hugs, inky wishes, Cricut chirps and Cuttlebug squishes,

  13. Beautiful card! The inspiration picture is definitely reflected in your layout. I also love the last picture (the end). Too cute!!!
