Anything But a Card

I was so excited about our challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central!  That’s just silly, isn’t it?
Have you ever been trying to sleep…when the creativity bug smacks you right between the eyes? That’s what happened with this challenge..I was tossing and turning, like I do most nights, with  Jimmy Fallon chatting away in the background, when the idea for this challenge came to me. Boink! Chinese Tilda would be so perfect for a box with fortune cookies …..and chocolate covered fortune cookies would be better than perfect,
if I could have  just found them.

I set out to make a 2, 4 , 6, 8 Acetate Box, using this tutorial, but having never made one, I had no idea the finished size would be dwarfed by my Chinese Tilda, (something like the Attack of the 50 Foot Woman),  so I simply increased the height  of the sides from 1 inch to 2 inches and the acrylic box to a height of 8 inches. This made for a much more Chinese Cookie friendly box. :)
Chinese Tilda is available for purchase at StampingScrapping.com and the Cozy Autumn Family Collection is available for pre-order too. Have you seen the Tilda in Bunny Slippers? It’s my favorite!
I hope I’ve inspired you to join our challenge at SSCC and to even try your own 2, 4, 6, 8 Acetate Box.
Thanks so much for visiting!
